New Batman Dark Knight Trailer Is Online

The new Dark Knight trailer is live. Come check out a re-imagination of The Joker, done in arguably the way he should always have been played--as a scary, scary man. Heath Ledger's portrayal is interesting, to say the least, and this movie is going to be great.

The Dark Knight, a sequel to Batman Begins, is due out in summer 2008. Like its predecessor, it stars Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne and is written and directed by Christopher Nolan. As mentioned, Ledger will play The Joker.

There is actually a 5-10minute uncut promo/scene at the head of the I am Legend IMAX.  It is a bank robbery scene.  Willam Fichtner is in it.  My guess is it may be the first 10 minutes of the film, or was shot specifically as promo to screen prior to I Am Legend.  Anyway it is f'ing aweseom.  It is the introduction of the Joker.  The robbers are wearing masks as they rob the bank.  Once by one, they kill each other off to get a better cut of the loot until there is only on left.  The Joker.  He shoots down the bank manager, Fichtner, and places a grenade in his mount attached to a long string...he then drives off and the string tightens and pulls the pin on Fichtner...bam!!! The bank explodes, and the Joker drives off with the money...then it cuts into the full teaser trailer...WORD!

Is anyone seeing an element of Brandons lee's 'The Crow'-in ledgers Joker....  Not knocking this performance of The joker its great but I do see the comparison.

Wait, so this movie is a sequel to that Batman flick we got a few years ago??? Well that's confusing, they should have just called it Batman Begins 2 so we'd all know what the fuck we're paying to see. It's like making a sequel to Spider-man and calling it 'The emo kid'

It's harder to do than it sounds. Running a site like this is hard work and not a lot of profit. Comment moderation happens weekly at best and is mostly just a quick scan for obvious spam. Sorry. If you wanna volunteer to be a comment moderator, I'd be delighted to give you that opportunity.

This site used to be hardly moderated at all and as a result it was almost as popular as AICN with some thread posts going into the thousands. Nowadays it's a graveyard.

well, thanks for dealing with the nonsense. i dont doubt its alot of work. I guess it got out of hand to the point that i needed to say something this time. you guys are doing a great job othewise... you update regularly now more than you have in the past, and thats always refreshing to see, especially when youre the first site i go to after i sign on. thanks and keep it going...this movie looks like it may very well be the best super-hero movie of all time. july cant come fast enough.
