Actor Robert Knepper, best known for playing about the sleaziest guy ever on Fox's Prison Break, is rumored to have a role in the upcoming X-Men spinoff Wolverine, according to the Denver Post. Knepper is one of those character actors you've almost certainly seen, but probably don't know who he is (unless you watch Prison Break. His credits include Good Night, and Good Luck; Carniv?le; and Everyone Says I love You. He can be seen this month in Hitman. His upcoming projects include a remake of The Birds, and he's rumored to be the next Bond villain, according to the article.
Wolverine stars Hugh Jackman, is written by David Benioff (Troy), and is directed by Gavin Hood (Rendition). It is scheduled for a 2009 release.
