Awareness occurs in 0.1% of general anesthetics, per JACHO (2004). It is RARE and this movie does a great disservice to all the hard working anesthesia providers worldwide.

So, are you suggesting that our streets are going to be overflowing with the freshly unemployed "anesthesia providers" who have lost their jobs due to a global fear of general anesthetics as an immediate result of this film?
Call me risky but, I for one don't see myself undergoing male-enhancement surgery without some sort of anesthetics just because of movie starring Hayden Christensen.

Are you nuts?! A tenth of a percent is NOT RARE! Stanford School of Medicine states that about 30 MILLION surgeries are performed every year in America.
That means at least 30 THOUSAND people suffer anesthetic awareness *EVERY YEAR*.
