J.J. Abrams' New STAR TREK Cast

J.J. Abrams' has almost completely cast his redo restart of the original Star Trek film franchise.  Dr. Leonard "Bones" McCoy is the last role to be cast.  Dig the comparisons.

Chris Pine is Kirk

Zachary Quinto is Spock

John Cho is Sulu

Simon Pegg is Scotty

Zoe Saldana is Uhura

Someone shoot Abrams before he screws the whole thing up.

Everything he touches is mediocre.

These people are soft-faced, homogenised planks. They are not actors in the same way Shatner was an actor, or Nimoy. They are supposed to look good, and make faces.

That isn't what Trek is about.

But that isn't something Abrams would ever understand.

The curse of still being alive is to see everything I ever enjoyed bastardized by charlatans.
