So the word on the unreliable internets (and Brit tabloids) is that the role of Scotty has been cast and that it's the guy you've heard it might be. Hint: he's brand new on the scene in Hollywood and is currently co-starring in "Becoming Jane." ?It's JAMES McAVOY (maybe)
