Cloverfield 1-18-08 has a trailer in front of all or most prints of Transformer. ?It was secret, it was referred to as "Cloverfield." We may have beeen the last to tell you about it, but were one of the first-ish peeps to lead you over to the official site, to give the bootlegged trailer, and now to lead you over to Apple who has the official HD version (link below).
1-18-08 will/is being directed by Matt Reeves (Felicity wr-dir), is being co-written by Drew Goddard (wr. Alias, Lost) and is produced by his pal J.J. Abrams (MI-3, Lost, Alias, Felicity).

I'm trying to understand what the logic would be in "reviving" the Godzilla franchise. The Japanese have been remaking and reinventing Godzilla for years. It can't be that simple. There is disinformation being spread and there is information being leaked. What the filmmakers want from us is our curiosity and the spread of their viral marketing. Be logical, gang. Voltron? Maybe. Rampage? Doubtful. A new monster that we've never seen before? Certainly most likely. Speculation is silly. They made a swell trailer, despite the head of the Statue of Liberty being way, way too small. Either way, let's hope they've got more than jsut a minute thirty worth of entertainment in them.

If you haven't heard of HP Lovecraft, look him up. he has a whole saga of fictional "gods." some of which dwell in the abysses of the oceans. I think it could very well be a spin off his books. Google Cthuhlu, its one of the main motherfuckers in the saga.
