FATBOY, RESIDENT EVIL, RATATOUILLE Peaks

Friend's cold lamb sandwich, David Schwimmer, has directed a film withe a solid lead (Shaun of the Dead's, Simon Pegg) and a great title (Run, Fatboy, Run). Resident Evil creators seem to have run the first two flicks through a copy machine and gotten another (Resident Evil: Extinction). And ABCNews did a spot on this summer's Brad Bird-directed Pixar-flick, Ratatouille.

I saw the trailer when I went to see the mediocre Ghost Rider. As the trailer opened on the long abandoned and buried Las Vegas skyline I got excited, thinking this might possibly be a cool movie coming out.

Then I saw Milla and the "Resident Evil" title appear on the screen. :-\

Oh well...

The trailer for this movie makes me think there's appeal here beyond just a kid's movie.
