Atom Films Gets $20 million Financing

In a move that further demonstrates confidence in the developing short film market, leading "next-generation" entertainment company Atom Films will announce today that it has secured $20 million for its second round of financing.?Investors include newcomers Chase Capital Entertainment Partners LLC, Chase Capital Partners, and Trans Cosmos USA Inc., who were joined by further investment from first round members Arts Alliance and Frank J.?Biondi Jr.?The company plans to use the new resources to acquire more films and expand its worldwide operations and in-house production of programming through its Atom Studios division.?While the company will increase investment in traditional marketing methods, Chief Marketing Officer Matt Hulett told EB Insider on Friday that a further implementation of the company's highly effective viral marketing efforts.
