Smokin' Aces is a new film from Cruise-shafted director Joe Carnahan. Carnahan was fired from MI:3 during preproduction, (the flick was shelved, then wiz kid J.J. Abrams was brought in a year later). Anywho, here's Carnahan's first project since his interesting debut (Narc). Looks like Pulp Fiction on speed. Aces stars a whole lotta people (Alicia Keys, Jeremy Piven, more).
