FOX, UNIVERSAL Drop HALO Movie Project!

Fox and Universal pictures, who had been partnering on the Halo film "adaptation," abruptly pulled their funding from the project. Executive producer Peter Jackson's peeps claim the studios wanted him, Miscrosoft, and the game producers to lower their cuts due to a fat $145m budget. Guess they didn't go for it.

The (pre)production is still in full swing and is being shopped to other moneybags for support and distribution.
