Director Steven Soderbergh has been somewhat quiet for awhile. He hasn't released a flick since his "experiment" that was the subdued bummer, Bubble. Here, he and his pal Clooney go retro (shot in black and white), make new friends (Cate Blanchett, Toby Maguire), and try for seriousness again.
