Christopher Paolini was 15 when he wrote his first book, the first in a trilogy that his family would later help him self-publish and self-promote on a family-funded 135 stop book tour. That's one encouraging, PR savy American family. The book is fantasy-based and about a dragon or something. ?Call your wizard, then dig the first full trailer from Eragon.

Overall good acting and graphics carry the day with this film. You will love the baby dragon.
A great let down for those who read the book as a lot of the detail was lacking. I think that not doing the training in words of power and weapons with Brom hurt the story line and the hurt Eragon felt in Brom's passing. The stage was not well set to get you into the story. You do not feel the pain of Eragon or get into what drives him. The stage is also not set for Eldest if a follow-on film is planned.

The graphics of eragon was amazing but after readin the book its a let down
