Earlier in the week, these pics from Michael Bay's in-production filming of the Transformers live-action-CGI mix "adaptation" of the toy and cartoon from the '80s appeared (link via filmrot). ?
Now new TF-movie-related toy concept art is online. ?Click on the pic of the new Megatron (via tfw2005.com) below for more. ?Guess they abandoned the giant gun idea.

I have to say, those concept drawings look a bit shit. One of the cool things about how they looked in the original cartoon was that when transformed into a robot you could still see the parts that made them a truck or plane etc.

I hear that Megatron's going to transform into a jet fighter rather than a gun. I think that's a pretty good idea because even when I was a kid I thought it was a bit weird that the leader of the Deceptercons could only turn into a gun that someone else then had to fire- he even shrunk. It was obviously about selling toys back then anyway.
