Aintitcool spies have scored this likely authentic 1st look sneak of Michael Bay's (dir. The Island, Peral Harbor, Bay Boys flicks, other bullshit movies) version of the loveable and virtuous leader of the Autobots, Optimus Prime. ?Bay is directing the Transformers live-action-CGI-mix film adaptation of the cartoon that was inspired by the 1980's toy line. ?Bay is a bad director. ?(link via aintitcool.com)

I hope to God he has not fuked with our beloved autobot leader..... this is as bad if its true as them revamping Optimus into a fire engine.. WTF.. i mean come on... the first basis of ppl who will go to see the film is the fans.. the die hards the generation X r's who loved this show beyond imagination... all i ask is do not destroy our dreams and our hopes... Whatever. We're talking about a cartoon Television show about robots. I love the Transformers but you cant be expecting a Apocolypse now type of storyline here. Just sit back and enjoy the ride. Transformers the movie is not changing the world as we know it.

Yea, some of the appearances of the Transformers changed. What did you expect? The toy line has changed constantly over the last 20 years. They have gone to beasts, and back with lots of variations in between. A 19 year old Transformer fan was born after the original series went off the air and grew up with the other transformer variations.  To me the move looks like its going to keep the personalties from the G1    series but pull in elements from all other Transformer lines.

Got to keep the younger fans happy too.

i havent seen the movie yet but i really want to go and see it. i wish i could be in 1 of the transformer films. i have seen loads of trailers and they rock. i am a good actor im 13 i want to be an actor when i get older. plz can i be in 1 of the transformers i am going mad because i dont just want to wach it, or play the game i want to be in 1 of the films.

actually, flat cab truck is still available in america. i think they choose peterbilt long nose truck because:
- they want the transform technique is more realistic if we see in live action movie. all of you try imagine, if they use the old model in the film, the audience must be wondering when optimus transform into robot. the first is:
-Where optimus prime hide hid head in flat cab truck? It's look funny and looks unlogical.
- how about optimus leg? the back tires at flat cab truck is not too long to be the optimus leg.
i think that is only a reason.

looks pretty sick, can't wait to see the movie this summer... and i don't give a f what he changed. i like the old cartoons and the live film adaptation even better. bay's an awesome director imo. he may have done some sub-par work in the past but don't we all occasionally?
