Dean Devlin and Roland Emmerich's Cinetropolis Entertainment has bought Larry Cohen's screenplay Cellular for $750,000, the Hollywood Reporter reported today (Tuesday).?Reminiscent of the plot of Speed, which centers around a bus carrying a bomb set to go off if the bus's speed falls below 50 MPH, Cellular reportedly concerns a man who picks up on his cell phone the voice of a woman telling him that she has been kidnaped but doesn't know where she is.?She feels certain that she is going to be killed.?The man must find her before his cell phone battery goes dead.
