The idea that viewers will be cued to "put on your glasses," reminded us here at the D of this awesome, Awesometown skit. (Awesometown is/was a sketch comedy pilot that was never picked up. It was created by SNL's new cast member Andy Sandberg and his pals in the Lonely Island comedy group).

So far I'm liking what I've seen of this new Superman movie. Although I don't know what Brandon Routh will be like since I've never seen him act before I think it was a smart move going with an unknown. The fact that Superman wears no cowl or mask means that it makes it easier for the audience to make the mental leap that this is Superman up on screen rather than some famous A-list actor in a Superman costume. As for the costume itself, when I first saw the very first promo pic I was with alot of other people in that I thought the 'S' was too small and the reds were to dark, however I have to say it's grownm on me and I think that all those complaints won't even be an issue when watching the film itself. To all the people still complaing about this movie, remember that we could so easily have had Nic Cage wearing a black costume, unable to fly and fighting gay robots.

Have a look on AICN, pretty much everyone of the talkbackers over there have been bitching and moaning about this movie from day one. It's almost as if there actually wanted Nic Cage and gay robots.

I heard the full trailer might be attached to M:I-III but that's not out until the middle of May or something. Usually you'd get the full, proper trailer for a big summer flick like half a year before it's due out, not half a month.

i have been waiting for superman to return but the pic and preview of superman have me seeing a skinny tenage looking kid that comes back home. i hope singer knows what he is doing her by not bulking up this kid to real superman size. or else superman will truely be dead in the movie world.. good luck superman were all wishing for the best.!

NEITHER OF THEM TOO.yes he may be buffer then reeves was but reeves had size and broad and look like the age of superman should be. were to believe superman has left and come back looking like a young 20 year old. its hard to see him being the future superman especially when you watch tom welling show and see smallvilles superboy much more as the part.

This isn't a DIRECT sequel. The stuff from the original two movies is meant to have happened but there's no need to get bogged down in all the little details. To all intense and purposes this is a revamp of the franchise in the same way that Batman Begins was. The only difference is that Singer felt that we didn't all need to see Superman's origin again (especially as it was done so perfectly in Supes 1) so he went for this whole kind of 'loose sequel to park II'
