Three things. One, i did see the preview going to see ice age with my kids. It looks pretty funny. And secondly, its weird. After all these years for there to be a Simpsons movie, its been delayed. Maybe Matt Groening shot people who didn't have good scripts (Lol). And finally, it has to be a really big blockbuster to be showing previews so early. (Same thing with the Incredibles.) I CANT WAIT!

He just means that using tennage internet slogans is something teens should do and not adults. What he does not know is that you used your "kids" as an excuse to see "Ice Age II", when in fact you are obviously 15 years old and lonley. Grown men and Women do not use those terms, because quite simply we are not "dorks".
Now on to the "Simpsons Movie". From what I understand, Homer Simpson, the main character, and Father of his family is in fact a cartoon character and physically abuses hos son, whose name is "Bart".

Right. End one of the biggest money makers on FOX that still draws huge viewers. Obviosly the show peaked by its 6th season, but if its still drawing crowds and a slew of knock-offs, then why pull the plug?

That depends on how old you are and the degree of your intelligence. The Simpsons humor is sophisticated and references political and satire that anyone under the age of 21 just will not understand. South Park is a funny show for kiddies, Family Guy is a blatant knock-off, which does a decent job of playing off of Simnpson plots. Of course there are those that watch the Simpsons, shrugging off a remark by say, Leonard Nimoy, and giggling when Homer burps, so it just goes to show you that humor is in the eye and ear of the beholder.
We are both right, proof being that they are both still on the air, and cranking out new episodes.

Okay, you;ve got it completely wrong there. The Simpsons USED to be really smart and intelligent humour, kind of like an animated sitcom where you'd get a begining, middle and an end in every episode but the 'normal' rules of a sitcom still applied to ground it in reality and give the characters more personality. By comparison, the new epiosdes just seem like 20 minutes of randomness that makes no sense with a few funny gags scattered here or there. It just seems like randomness and stupid plot points for the sake of it. I saw an episode a while ago where Bart sneaks off to a rap contest and ends up freestyling on stage like 8mile or something, man it was seriously cringworthy.
South Park on the other hand is extremely satirical and intelligent and IMO it's improved so much since the movie. If you go back and look at the original episodes you'll see alot of infantile humour but when it comes to the new episodes they're incredibly witty.

Your mom doesn't like the Simpsons, did you fuck her too?
BTW, Homer looks like he's on smack in that trailer, they should take the animation back to the 'large eyes' days.

I'll take another look at South Park, but the last time I checked, it was the same humor as the first season with dootie, etc. was once funny but no longer. I wonder if South Park will last as long as the Simpsons.

I don't see how South Park can be descibed as 'kids' humour, I certainly wouldn't let my children watch it. If you want an example of the wit and general cleverness of the show just go and download the Scientology episode.

And just how do you know my mom duznt like the simpsons? I bet you dont like them so i have the right to fuck you! (BTW, Homer's 'large eyes' aren't anything exclusive. If you really were a simpsons fanatic, you'd notice that EVERYBODY has big eyes. It's now obvious that you dont love the simpsons, so i'm gonna have to say...
FUCK YOU ALL TO FUCKING HELL!

Possibly. Some of their ways are better than the early 90's, but also, most of the stuff in the new ones got worse than they did in the 90's. However, since more events have occured recently than in the 90's, it is a little obvious that the storylines in most recent episodes are more various...and have more analogies. (Example: 9/11.) So you do have a point in some ways, but the fact that more has happened is another thing.

The movie is going to be written by the writers of the best episodes. So all of you dorks who think that the Simpsons has lost it's way because they don't have good writers, well watch the movie. And if you don't believe me read Entertainment Weekly (The April 14, 2006 issue with Superman on the front, page 18) so yeah. I quote, "David Mirkin, who co-wrote the carefully guarded script with 10 veteran scribes responsible for the best episodes from the show's 1990s heyday."

Bart would get his comeuppance for stealing Mrs. Krabbapel's prozacs. Lisa would get it for being a smartass. Maggie because she uses weapons. So yeah, it should be in the movie...a nice 9/11 like kind of thing. And yeah, the line 'd'oh!' Will definetly be in the movie. I'll fly a plane into MY kids bedroom if its not in it.

How long has the Simpsons been on TV? I don't know, but it was definitly a really long time. (Maybe like 15 years or something like that). It's been so freaking long since they made a movie.
But now about my expectations about this. When I first saw the trailer seeing Ice Age, I really thought that it was a preview for Superman Returns. But, I realized that Superman Returns is coming out in 2006. The trailer says 'in 2007' (feels like 3007 to me.) Actually everyone did. But then, with Homer in his little T-Shirt and underwear, I (And everyone else who knew what and who The Simpsons were) simply CRACKED UP! And then 'I for got what I was supposed to say!' made me and lots of other people lol too. Then when it said 'The Simpsons Movie' everyone (including me) just started to applaud.
All these years that have gone by, all of these episodes that have kept us laughing with our families for 15 years. I have got to say...
ITS ABOUT TIME!
They've made all kinds of movies based on TV shows. (Mostly kiddie ones). But the Simpsons might be the most succesful TV show yet. (Apart from to those loving fans including myself of 'Everybody Loves Raymond' and 'OC') Then again, The Simpsons is an animated show. So admit it, people who love 'Family Guy' and 'American Dad'...
THE SIMPSONS FUCKING ROCK!!!

Their betrayal will be dealt with. After you have killed all the Jedi in the Temple, go to the Mustafar system. Wipe out Viceroy Gunray and the other Separatist leaders. Once more, the Sith will rule the galaxy, and we shall have peace.

What else are they going to say, we picked writers that suck so please dont waste your money to see this. i dont care who writes it, as long as its better than that South Park P.O.S. movie.
