Last week it came out that Issac Hayes (Chef) had quit over the show's treatment of religious issues (something they've always been really good about before, right). ?Later in the week, rumors began spreading that Scientology dark overload Tom Cruise had pressured Comedy Central to pull a new episode that supposedly beat up on his religion (what was actually pulled was a repeat of an episode that aired earlier in the season). ?Here's that earlier episode. ?Click on for the show and an article about the incident.
Read about the incident in this Variety article. ?The episode aired a few months ago, Tom may have pressured Comedy Central to not air the repeat.

While the South Park Scientology episode first premiered several months ago, all the big drama is just kicking in to full swing about now.
