This isn't his real job? Does that mean I can stop writing him a pay-check? If you think you can do a better job, send me an email with some example posts and I'll give you his job (or one just like it).
I'm sure Wind(up)bird likes some movies here and there. Like say.. um.. Brokeback Mountain and Deliverance?

Dear people. For whatever reason, it seems like Ratner doen't quite know how to shoot fantastical make-up and superheroes costumes without having them stickout from their backgrounds (whereas Rami, Singer, and Nolan have). Case in point, check the close up of Mystique in jail. She looks different. Magneto seems to stick out a little too. There has been quite of bit of hating going on about this flick. I tend to agree with the haters. Hope we're all wrong.
Didn't know about the ban on trailers during the Oscars. Also, I like movies.
what is wind up bird on about again

I'm happy to see visitors to this site getting pissed off over the glib and judgemental "reporting"on this site.
People have been saying the Superman movie is going to suck while it was still in pre-production.
"Batman Begins" was also supposed to be "craptastic" according to this site.
Who are the morons running this site that seem to think that have fortune telling abilities?
I'm just so tired of AICN, this site, and countless other "fan sites" that review a movie a year or two in advance and then prop themselves up with these opinions even after the movie gets released and does well.
As for the comic book geeks, you all need to think about something. No one is ever going to make a comic based movie (and I'm not talking about graphic novels meant for adults like Sin City)that is 100% true to the source material as the market cannot bear a feature film that only a couple of hundred people are "in on".
At the risk of getting a flame session going. Fantastic Four was not that bad of a movie. it succeeded in doing what it set out to do which is a stupid, popcorn movie that never had any aspirations to be anything else. The whole point of that movie was to look at the effects and Jessica Alba and go "cool".
Had they been true to the storyline then about 50 people would have gone to see it.
Besides if you are a true fan of source material and are afraid to see any Hollywood version then your choice is simple; don't go to the movie. I don't know why "fans" seem to think that if they bitch long enough a $100,000,000 movie is going to be changed.
Everyone just needs to relax, wait for the damn movie to get released, then form opinions.
I remeber a very long time ago seeing a trailer in the theater for some stupid Sci-Fi flick. God it looked awfull. Everyone in my group talked about it and we all came to opinion that based on this early trailer that the movie was going to be horrid and we swore never to go see it. 6 months later this little movie called "Star Wars" was released and broke all kinds of records. My group of friends and I finally relented and saw it. After that we had a contest with each other as to who would see it the most times (this was before video so there was no "wait until the movie comes out" on VHS).
Enough said....
Let the flaming begin!!!

Dude, it's all just a game of opinions... chill.
Having said that, Fantastic Four was just plain DULL. Maybe if they'd given it a bigger budget and gotten a proper director rather than some guy who'd done music videos and didn't know a comic book from a porno mag it might have been a different story. Why'd you have to go and bring up Fantastic Four anyway? Just thinking about that crapfest puts me on edge.

An X-Man Trillogy. Fucky, fucky, and triple fucky. Also, Ian Mckellen. Wuznt he gandalf in lotr? And now he's turning up in a superhero movie about fucky superheroes with fucky powers. And also, there better be nudity in this 1! Or else i dont see it.... And also, Ian Mckellen should be too preoccupied with the movie of that plagerized Dan Brown book, 'The DaVinci Code.'

Shut up motherfucker! You have no idea what your talking about. X-Men have to much on their mind...like all of the movies that'll come out at the same time that will surely be fucking better than X-3 The Last Stand. Its obvious, if you spent more time goin to movies early to see previews for other movies that'll be better than one inparticular (Like the remake of Poseidon) than you do sittin on the john crapping and shitting until your shitter is sore that the tagline (The Last Stand) is not only a really common name, but it is also slightly plagerized from 'The Final Frontier' from Star Trek. So those who think production should just cancel this movie, i like. For those of you who read X-Man comics when you were 7 on the bus to school...
FUCK YOU!

What does it take for you internet posters to understand? The X-Men movies are just hunks of shit! In my humble opinion, I think that there are too many comic-book superhero based movies nowadays. The same thing with the 70's. Don't you people understand that if too many filmmakers start making movies based on comic books, other filmmakers in the future will definetely pursue the job of making remakes of the same movie. (Exactly like Wolfgang Petersen did with The Poseidon Adventure.) Anyway, my point is that if more comic book movies are made, people will make a remake of it and the only movie genre in America will be 'Comic Book Superheroes'. And do you people want that? If you do...
FUCK YOU ALL TO FUCKING HELL!!!

Why do so many of you people think that just because the trailer rocked (which, despite myself, did,) it doesn't mean that the MOVIE is going to rock as well. It's the same thing with Poseidon. Everyone in a previous blog said that the trailer plain rocked! But then i just got back from seeing that movie now, and it totally sucked. (Apart from the freaky good special effects and gorey deaths some people suffer.) But my point is, the majority of you are saying that just because the trailer rocked, the movie will rock too. You have my example with poseidon. Just you wait and see. And if anyone starts booing and fucking me off, there'll be hell to pay from me!!! Just you wait...
