I don't really give a shit who likes what or who but at least get it straight.
Smith has had hits (defined as making a profit between theatrical release and home video)with Clerks, Jay and Silent Bob SB, Mallrats, and Dogma. Most of his other films, while not runaway hits, have made money. Not exactly a one hit wonder.
Lucas. Well even if you only count Star Wars and Indy Jones there are 9 movies, many of which are in the top 20 hits of all time.
If you are going to label someone, make sure the label is accurate.
Oh, and try to get the speelling rightd so you dson't read like a 12 year old high school drop out.

Put this man in a room with other amateur American film directors, producers, and screenwriters and have some critics judge their work without knowing what their names are... and you have George Lucas the nobody. THX 1138 aka "Electronic Labyrinth THX 1138 4EB" WTF? Originality? or some really good psychedelic drugs? Talk about a man with a helluva lotta luck on his side. Another time, another place and his creations wouldn't of seen the light of day. I guess it's all in who you know in the "business", not how GOOD you really are. There are people are there with more talent in their left nutsicle than Lucas ever will have. Star Wars is weak. :|

Ok, I promise to get my spelling right, but clarify something for me... How can a 12 year old be a High School dropout? Are you retarded or just plainly obsessed with Doogie Howser?
