BRYCE DALLAS HOWARD Joins SPIDER-MAN 3!

She's talented, her dad was on Happy Days and directed Splash, and she knows M. Night Shyamalan; Bryce Dallas Howard (The Village, Manderlay, and upcoming Lady in the Water) is joining Spider-Man 3 and is set to play Parker's future girlfriend, Gwen Stacy. This will surely add speculation that director Raimi is killing off Mary Jane in the third installment. Click over for the Hollywood Reporter article.

You can't kill off Mary Jane (Even if it isn't true).... I mean Gwen Stacy's Death is a major turning point in Peter's Life (after his Uncle Ben's of course). Maybe they will kill Gwen off in SM 4, and that would tie the Green Goblin/Gwen death together in this universe.  Well still looking forward to SM 3, with VENOM!!!

Ok, personally I think it's a little late to bring her into the story since the original Green Goblin was the one that killed her in the comics, but who knows it could work.

well the original green goblin is not dead, so he could be back in SM4. I also will not buy that its venom until i see more concrete evidence.

they shouldnt put sandman on SM3 honestly who really likes sandman(no offense) they should put VENOM on the third SM cause VENOM is thi most kickass villian on SPIDER-MAN period

Venom and Sandman are in Spiderman 3! I don't know who Gwen Stacy is but I'm sure Bryce Dallas Howard could do a good job. She was great in the Village. Topher Grace is playing Venom and Thomas Haden Church is playing Sandman.

Sure they cant kill off mary jane...

but... it seems like they are pulling their information out of the new ULTIMATE SM series.

Gwen Stacy was killed by carnage in Ultimate.... long after the Green Goblin Incident.

Let's hope Mary Jane is killed off.
That would ruin the franchise.

Listen dorkpatrol, Kirsten Dunst is clearly apathetic about the Mary Jane role. Did you even watch her horrible performance in 2? She was even quoted as saying they should kill off Spider-man. SHE DOES NOT LIKE PLAYING THE ROLE ANYMORE. Kill her ass dead, the drama will be good for the franchise.
