Crazy, nutty, insane Mel Gibson has gone and filmed another something sweaty, bloody and in a language many of us have never heard in a multiplex before. ?Apocalypto is about the end of the Mayan civilization in South America. ?All dialogue is in a Mayan dialect and all of the actors are unknown. ?This could be interesting. ?Maybe. The Maya did not live in South America. They lived in Mesoamerica, which includes southern Mexico and the Yucatan Peninsula, Belize, Guatemala, and parts of Honduras.
