Yep. Soft-ish. Only in Hollywood (only in America) can a $50 million dollar opening weekend be described as soft or an underperformance. But then again, Kong cost $200 million to make. Could Kong be in trouble of not making it's money back? No. The Family Stone, Syriana, Walk the Line, and Brokeback Mountain performed well. Click over for the numbers.
