What the hell is this about? Is this about Natalie Portman shaving her head? Why is the title of whatever it is so odd? What's going on?

The movie is an adaptation of the graphic novel of the same name, arguably one of the best ever written. The movie is about that fellow in the mask, named V (so that's half of the title), and his "revenge" (or more specifiaclly, his vendetta-the other half of the title) on the corrupt, 1984esque government of his time.
