The black character Sithartha is turned into a monkey by having her feet replaced with hands and allowing her to swing from the trees. What racist fool filmmaker idiot slipped this piece of racism into an otherwise fine film?

It stayed true to the bizarre animated episodes, created interesting possibilities to the unexplainable events in the animated series, and Charlize truly was a surprise in her almost dead-on depiction of Aeon! (Too bad "Trevor" sucked!) Completely a treat for true Aeon Flux fans ;) ..if u take it as a very human interpretation!

he didn't say the original character was Black. Nevertheless, the characterization of Black people as "monkeys" or caricatured with ape-like features is fairly common in at least in that of the U.S. History. The first time I saw the trailer I was a mite surprised that the decision was allowed to take place.
No need to bang the "racecard" drum. It was a valid observation.

Sithartha was a character in the cartoon, it is not a racist depiction.
In fact my first thought on seeing her was "Cool, they included her" without even noticing her skin colour.

yeah,i dig it. its the reason kenny baker played r2d2 in star wars. he could fit into that motherfuckin can with legs(by the way,hes a midget:-). its also the reason halle berry played "storm" and not "wolverine". wolverine looked good in the films, hes supposed to be a white guy but, glen danzig wouldve looked better(hes alot shorter).
