PAT MORITA, Karate Kid's MR MIYAGI, Dead At 73

RIP: Pat Morita Actor Pat Morita was, of course, more than just Mr. Miyagi (remember his run on Happy Days, The Odd Couple, his Oscar nominated role in the The Killing Fields?), but he will most likely be remembered by the general public as the loveable Karate Kid character. Morita died on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, from natural causes. He was 73 and is survived by his three daughters.

I ashamed I somehow missed this news. I think the original poster should check their facts before making insane claims. He was never in the Killing Fields (although he was nominated for BSA for the KArate Kid and lost to Hang Ngor who was in the Killing Fields). He had no recurring role on the Odd Couple, but did show up a couple of times on M*A*S*H and Sanford & Son. He will be sorely missed. He was in a movie that is currently filming called Princess. I wonder if all of his scenes where done or are the going to cut him out and reshoot?
