Moviehole has pointed us toward the first poster for the upcoming "Rambo IV," which is set to begin filming next year. Apparently, the fourth installment in Stallone's vigilante commando series was all the buzz at AFM this weekend, too. Click over for the poster and some news.
John Thompson, head of production for Nu Image / Millenium Films, says, "Rambo is still an angry man, but he never wants to get into trouble, he never wants to get into a confrontation and he doesn't want to fight until there is no other choice."
That sounds, um, exciting? Of course you know the storyline: Rambo comes out of retirement because his Social Security has run out and he needs some prescriptions filled.
A tipster also gave Moviehole the studio's fantasy list of directors for "Rambo IV":
"Blade" helmer Stephen Norrington, "Beverly Hills Cop" great Martin Brest, "The Great Raid" director John Dahl, and "Frequency" director Gregory Hoblit.
The poster!
