The film follows the Earl's adventures in London, from his passionate romance with a young actress, Elizabeth Barry (Samantha Morton), to the writing of a scurrilous play which blisteringly and bawdily lampoons the very monarch who commissioned it, Charles II (John Malkovich), leading to the Earl's banishment and eventual downfall.

"The Libertine" comes out in theaters on November 23rd and expands on December 25th.

I can not wait until this movie comes out. I love all of Johnny's movies, and this one will probably not be an exception. I love him in dark roles, and can not wait till this film hits mainstream.

Exactly! Johnny is so amazing. I respect him so much because he could've been a pretty boy actor that plays the same part like Brad Pitt, but he's a character actor instead, and each character he plays he makes it so unique and his own. He has the ability to play any part, and I love him!
