Brick is a film by Rian Johnson (editor of cult hit "May") and was a hit at the 2005 Sundance festival. It stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt (3rd Rock TV show), Richard Roundtree (Shaft), Emilie de Ravin (Clare on Lost), and Lukas Haas (small boy from Witness).
