Hey, I am an American who has the greatest respect for the British. I had the pleasure of visiting the United Kingdom a few years ago and found the citizens of that country to be very nice and courteous. I had a great time and will go back again. I would like to learn more about the country as they have an interesting history.

The British have given us some of the best comedians (Peter Sellers, Benny Hill, Monty Python to name a few). I wish we could give the crude remarks a rest and learn to respect and look for the good in each other's cultures.

I am also a big James Bond fan. While I am not sure that Daniel Craig was the best choice, we should give the guy a chance.

By the way, I also love the Avengers. Emma Peel was the best!!!!

the real point her is that this guy wont cut it without losing some of that facial fat, getting hairplugs to lose the widows peak and a decent dye job, and some better acting skills than what he's shown of late. But i mean i thought Peirce Brosnan would suck to, due to his mostly sub par acting skills, and i quite enjoyed him in the role, not as much as connery, but still.

For someone have seen Dr. No to Die Another Day, I'm considered I have been one of the James Bond' fans. As a fan, I would like to say, a successful Bond film must depend on a good storyline, production quality, a good looking of Bond character, and the release date must be in the right political climate.
However, one thing that I don't get is DC does not look younger and handsome than PB, why DC is the first choice for new James Bond?

I would just like to say that daniel craig will make a great bond because he is a very good actor. People outside of the u.k. will not no who he is but, which i think is a good thing because why always have a big name to take over? Just give him a chance, us in the u.k. now who he is very well, i belive that it is a bit of a come down for him because he is a actor who picks his roles by script not for fame. This time i think he must of felt fuck it i'll do it why not? You have to move with the times with a franchise like bond,and i think that's what the casting realised when takeing on daniel craig. I think daniel is a good choice, interesting but good. I really thought it was going to be clive owen! very surprised it wasn't. For any one who doesn't no him it's very strange that he took the role, he's more of a theatre actor, not a big movie actor although he has made good movies. I also agree with the person who said it was a come dowm for him in terms of his previous work which is a lot more intense than a bond film. but if anyone can pull it off then he for sure can by a mile. Also if you don't no what films he's been in try and see (road to perdition, with tom hanks.)

I was very dissappointed when they dropped Pierce Brosnan, but then thought that he had to be replaced eventually.
