Dark Horizons has posted a tip from a scooper that debunks some previous rumors about who will be facing off against The Dark Knight in the next Batman film. Anyone who watched "Batman Begins" knows that The Joker is likely going to turn up in the sequel, but who is the right actor? Also, a bunch of other details about the upcoming sequels.
Joker will probably not be played by Lachy Hulme, according to the scooper.
"He's apparently known as the 'who is this guy?' around the Bat-traps. I don't think he's got much of a chance in The Joker stakes."
Similarly, the article says that Crispin Glover, Mark Hamill and Sean Penn are unlikely candidates.
Paul Bettany is among the names being tossed around, apparently, and so are a few other interesting people. Ryan Reynolds, Michael Keaton and Johnny Depp, for example. In case you missed that: MICHAEL KEATON!
Yeah, that's something.
The villain whistle blower was careful to point out that it's still early and no one actually has the role yet.
There's more questions answered in the full article: Which other characters will we see? Will Katie Holmes be back? And more!
