HELP WANTED: Write The STAR WARS TV Series?!

IGN Filmforce is reporting that George Lucas is gearing up for his upcoming "Star Wars" TV series. At the top of the list: screenwriters to pen the 50 hours of scheduled story. Does the average fanboy have a chance to land the job? Not really, but here's the point: Lucas won't be writing the TV series. Not all of it at least. We'll take what we can get.

The article said that the writing will take place at Skywalker Ranch this January, under heightened security. The show scheduled to begin filming in 2007.

If you didn't even know there was going to be a "Star Wars" TV series, where the hell have you been?
