SPIDER-MAN 3 Villain Gossip Round Up!

SPIDER-MAN 3 villain news It seems like they were handing out "Spider-Man 3" villain rumors with every fill up at Chevron. If you've been keeping track of that churning speculation mill, chances are you're seasick by now, or worse: pale and lonely. Luckily Ain't it Cool News has fanboys with Web space to keep us updated on these sorts of things. Will it be Venom? Sandman? Chameleon? Mr. T?

Quint breaks it all down and then some. Of course, he keeps it real:

Am I right about the villains? Or am I dead wrong? Could Sony be going forward with Chameleon as the main villain? I honestly don't know for sure and I won't know until they make the official announcement.

He still manages to put together 13 paragraphs on the subject.

dTheatre has plenty of Spiderman 3 coverage, too:

has any noe thought Topher or Thomas could be hobgoblin, hired and given the suit by Harry to gain revenge on peter. I think the plots focus will be harry and revenge, but not as him in a suit yet. If its going to be sandman then my vote would be hydro-man, then they could be accidentally smashed to gether a la comic book to create a gruesome mud monster.

Sandman?? I'd say Ben Affleck as an enemy! Maybe as Super Blind Butthead Man, and getting his butt kicked by Spider Guy!!

From many research, I have been informed the there is going to be one villian played by 2 characters! (Grace and Church)

How do you ask is that possible?

The chameleon (H. Church) is "in love" with mary jane, so he says.

He transforms himself to his younger self (T. Grace) some how and trys to whoa Mary Jane out!

I'm guessing our courageous super hero isn't really happy about that.

there are so many possibilities. i've heard rumors about venom, vulture, sandman, etc. but i think it will be {or should be} the lizard or a second green goblin. both focus on the plot already put out by the first two films. plus the lizard is my favorite villain, and he kicks @$$!!!

spider man 3 should have Venom in it. He is the best villian in the comics. J.J.J.s son could have brought Venom back with him from space or the moon or whatever,but they wont they will have the lizard or someone stupid like Hydro-man.

obviously venom is the new villain, why else would spiderman 2 feature an obscure side-plot about JJJ's son going into outerspace. If the green goblin comes back as harry osbourne, im not even gonna watch it

the green goblin was always norman osborn. Harry osborn is the HOBGOBLIN.
