SUPERMAN RETURNS Trailer Shown At Comic Con!!

Bryan Singer showed a room full of hungry geeks a 5 minute trailer from Superman Returns in San Diego at the 2005 Comic Con. Screenwriters Dan Harris and Mike Dougherty were in attendance with Singer. Click over for a description of the footage and check back later for the footage itself! Trailers for V For Vendetta, The Fountain, and Underworld: Evolution were also shown at the Comic Con.

ya, that is what i was thinking?  Because if that is true and this site does have actual footage, i'm willing to wait.  but, if they are waiting for someone else to release ACTUALL OFFICIAL FOOTAGE, that is very unlikely.

Just to let everyone know.  Hollywood Reporter reports that the producer of the movie says that if a bootlegg copy of the footage is leaked online, than the WB will release the footage officially, so here is hoping that someone taped the footage at the Convention.  So spread the word.

I don't think the owners are going to post no footage.  Seems like they are just linking to other sites, so they are waiting and assuming that some kind of footage will be released.  Unless, the owners of this site can remove the statement "check back later for the footage itself!, because that is misleading everybody.

People, friends, we come from the same planet as you do.  We're not trying to screw you by having the sentence "check back later for the actual footage."  We are, in fact, eagerly awaiting a leak or an official release from WB (like every other damn geek site out there).  We say "check back.." because, should the footage be released, we will, by all means, post it like it's hot.  Some of you people get so damn nasty so quickly.  So chill out, have a sip of your favorite refreshing beverage, take a breath, and hang loose. And thank you for checking out our site.

To all Superman fans: I really don't know how I came across the "Cloud Teaser" trailer, but here it is in it's entirety.
    The opening trailer sequence starts with the opening score from Superman 2. The Warner Bros. logo appears through the clouds. The DC Comics logo appears with flashes from previous DC Comic books, like the opening sequence to the spiderman movies.
Then, in red lettering appearing through the clouds, then disappearing:  NEXT SUMMER    THE WORLD WILL WITNESS    THE RETURN OF A HERO  (during climatic parts of opening Sup 2 score)   KEVIN SPACEY  KATE BOSWORTH   introducing BRANDON ROUTH    "New Superman Logo", w/sound of explosion, appears from the clouds.
    SUPERMAN RETURNS
        6.30.06

p.s. although it didn't actually show any real footage from the movie, you would've loved this teaser trailer.  THIS WAS THE REAL DEAL!!

sure. i dont want to see it. ive only been waiting since forever to see THE hero in action in an age that relates to me. sure no big thing....if anyone is interested, www.kal-el.org have a couple of 'fan teasers' that have been swiped from WB and made up with music... iknow its not the real thing, but it is the best you will find. Nah, I can't see Welling wearing that costume. I can only picture Christopher Reeves in it.  Which is wierd cuz Routh looks like Reeves in certain angles.  I'm cool with the costume, its the villains they need to work on.
