Looks as if the Dukes flick is indeed going to be as dumb as you'd think it might be given the limp director and cast. Granted, it is the Dukes of Hazzard movie. As for the new Mr. and Mrs. Smith trailer; eh, we've had better.

Overall from the looks of the preview the movie in general looks disappointing. It looks nothing like the original show, except for the car. Sean William Scott and Johnny Knoxville as the Duke brothers, I mean c'mon. At least have Sean dye his hair to be the blonde. Their looks come nowhere close to the original Duke brothers. And Daisy, SHE HAS BLACK HAIR!! Not that crappy blonde that Jessica didn't want to change for the movie. Get a wig. Overall, if you going to remake a classic TV show, make it look like the original show. GEEZE!!!

I tell you what.I went to the wrap up party and got to see more than the trailer shows and it is going to be a kick ass movie.So seriously dude back-off of something you know nothing about.and by the way they didnt want it to be fully like the real thing.They wanted to make it have a look of what it would be like if it was made today not back them.As far as the way they look it keeps them from being something they are not.The cast stayed real to them self.

AMEN to that! I just saw the trailer tonight and I agree, it is going to be a kick ass film! I saw both reunions, and I admit, it was different than what the show looked like, but you also have to remember, times changed since the show and years have gone by. To me, it doesn't matter what cast plays the characters, to me, it's all good, and it's still the Dukes!
By what I saw in the trailer, they still have the same humor that Enos had when Sonny played him, and Bo and Luke still have the same humor, even though it's different people. I'm excited to go see it, can't wait til August.

Man, it's not SUPPOSED to be at all like the show. First of all, it's 2005...expect a few changes. Secondly, the writers and producers made sure to make it clear that it wasn't going to be an exact replica of the show. Yea, there's gonna be alot of differences...but that's the plan. I think you need to keep an open mind and not have any expectations of this movie. That's what I'm gonna do..and I'm diehard fan of show. It's just the 'Dukes 2005'. No one can compare to the Original Duke boys...and no one in HELL can amount to the Original Daisy. It's just supposed to be a fun flick...

Just saw the trailer. Looks like a cool flick and the number was backwards on the driver door. It was 10. By the way the Dodge Chargers that were used were only from 68' to 70' models.

It looks like that because the car itself wasn't prepped up yet. It doesn't even have the bumber guard on the front of the grille.

I agree the onlything close to the tv show is the car the only thing they did right was cast willie nelson as uncle jesse.
bty most of the shots of the "general" the graffix artists must have been on crack cause most of the trailers Ive seen the cars "01" on the doors the format is wrong.

first off they have used reverse shots for some parts of the movie to save on money.
2nd. the car is a 1969 charger not a 75 or 76
now some 68 and 70 chargers were converted to look like the 69.
3rd.

you cant say the goblet of fire is crap just by watching the trailer and plus, the only made 1 so far and its the first one so oviuosly its not going to be brilliant. Remember, the last trailer is always the best, that is because they show it just before the movie is out so that they can get all the audience to watch it. you will notice that in alot of films. even 'War of the worlds' looked abit crup at the beginning but the last trailer was wicked.

I have no opinion on the film just that so many people can talk so much rubbish about a film based on a tv series that wasn't even that good. Judging by the incredibly high feeling low maturity, small vocabulary and bad spelling of the comments you are (most of you)either too young to be watching the film, very sad and should get a life -getting so overheated about such a 'classic' as this - or you are certifiable and only get let out with an armed guard.
