Will Ferrell and his pal and Anchorman director Adam Mckay have agreed to act in and direct a comedic version of the weird cult TV show, Land of the Lost. ?Land of the Lost, created by puppet hippie freaks Syd and Marty Kroft, dealt with a goofy forest ranger and his honkie kids getting transported to the age of the dinosaurs. Universal will distribute Land of the Lost in 2006.

Did you not have a fucking childhood? Sure it looks hokey now but to a grade school kid in the 70's it was pretty cool. I guess you grew up a little too "high brow" for goofy 70's tv shows.
