Ads can be evil, idiotic and mind-numbing, and sometimes they can be incredibly creative. ?Here's a case-in-point for the latter, an inventive CGI remix of Gene Kelly's dance in the rain. Also, for whatever reason, fake ads for VW and other cars have been popping up online and upsetting the common folk. Click on for the Singing in the Rain CGI remix and a Citroen ad featuring a live action, full sized, dancing transformer.
While Your here, Check Out this Wild Citroen Car Ad With a Dancing, Live Action Transformer Could this be a taste of what's to come from the Transformers live action film in development at Dreamworks?

This ad's been running for months here in the UK, but I still get a kick out of it. I'd rather watch this over and over than ever see another ad about loans or injury claims.

Yea, like that ad where the cat's looking in through the sunroof and the car chops it in half. That one wasn't endorsed by VW.Thta one got so many compliants, most from people who never even saw it, just heard about it.

That ad is cool as hell... And that's because it's fun, and creative. It doesn't disrespect Gene Kelly by sticking a vaccum or beer in his hand. VW's ad people are brilliant.

THAT'S how you use dead movie stars in Ads. These guys know what they're doing, and that transformers advert is cool too.
Wow!

That is so amazing what they did to this classic movie! I'm sure if Gene Kelly were alive today he would learn to dance that way anyway. It must have taken moths to edit that, what a feat!

I liked that ad where there had Steve McQueen driving some car but they made it with footage from Bullet. This ad however was obviously a much harder thing to pull off but they made it work.
