I've always considered The Rock to be one of the best all out action flicks of the last 20 or so years- right up there with Diehard and Face/Off, Armageddon was alright aswell if you're just in the mood for some no-brainer popcorn action. I'll admitt as a filmmaker he can be pretty hit and miss but I wouldn't call Michael Bay completely untalented.
