We'll soon find out how bad of an idea this was. ?Richard Linklater is a solid director, but why remake ? such a good flick with Billy Bob Thorton as the lead? Bad News Bears is slated for a mid-June release.

well if any of you have ever seen the orginal bad news bears, youd know that they dont win, ive yet to watch this trailer, i just got sucked in by the commentary, im sure this movie will be crap, perhaps tolorable, but you cant beat walter mathow, billy! you just cant handle his load.

billy bob thorton is a great actor (espescially when he is a drunkkard) i will see this movie
the thing i have a problem with is why doesnt someone be creative and come up with their own movie instead of remaking all the classics
