At the hipster, IFP Independent Spirit Awards on Saturday, Sideways (Best Picture), Garden State (Best 1st Feature), and Mean Creek (Best Film made for under $500,000) all were recognized. ?Paul Giamatti (Sideways) and Catalina Sandino Moreno (Maria Full of Grace) won the acting awards.
