R.I.P.: Hunter S. Thompson Legendary "Gonzo" journalist Hunter S. Thompson, was found dead on Sunday outside of Aspen, CO. ?Thompson appears to have died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. Wild, insane, usually drugged, and incredibly talented, Thompson was 67.
