"War of the Worlds" has a creepy new trailer that features the voice over line "to and fro," but is still fun to watch. ?Steven Spielberg is directing and Tom Cruise is starring in this updated adaptation of the H.G. Wells novel.

The phrase "to and fro" is likely a direct quote from the novel, but that does not make it any less humorous.

The screenplay is written by David Koepp ("Spider-Man," "Panic Room").

"War of the Worlds" is due out June 29th, 2005.
