It seems that there has been some argument caused by who should get credit for the picture.
Film Rotation was where I originally saw the picture, but several other sites have posted that picture, plus some more.
JoBlo.com has a couple right here.
Cheapassgamer.com has four: 1, 2, 3, 4.
And to read the synopsis of drama this thing has cause, Film Rotation has that right here.
"The Dukes of Hazzard" also stars Johnny Knoxville (TV's "Jackass"), Seann William Scott ("American pie" films), and Burt Reynolds. ?It is directed by Jay Chandrasekhar ("Super Troopers").
"The Dukes of Hazzard" was a television show that ran on CBS from 1979 to 1985.
The film is due out July, 2005.

As a fan of the Dukes of Hazard TV series during my younger years, I must admit I am suprised Warner Bros is doing this movie. I suppose they are simply catering to the fanbase who likely have been wanting a remake for ages.
My thoughts on the cast?
The guy from American Pie as Bo Duke? Okaayyy... and Jessica Simpson as Dasiy? Simply amazing! I am glad it's not Britney Spears, I just hope this is done tastefully. Simpson is gorgeous and I hope fans will not just see a female body when they go see this movie, but an actress with a mind as well as good looks.

If the General Lee doesn't ride with the right and accurate ensign on its roof because of some butt rearing, P.C., studio assclown, then this movie won't be worth watching for ten cents- even if Simpson's shorts split at the southern cross. Go falcons!

Agreed, I'm tired of the PC jockies that seem to latch on to everything these days. It's like "freedom of speech" until someone claims they're offended, then we all have to pretend it was never there. Kind of like Christmas.

Jessica has the looks and body that will do a fine job of IMITATING Daisy but she'll never be Catherine Bach! This movie will never measure up even close to the original show, everyone in Hollywood is PC to let it even try. I think it's going to stink like the shit pile behind the barn, but that won't stop me from going and seeing it, strictly for the shorty shorts.
NO FLAG!?

WTF? You've gotta be kidding me, no confederate flag on the General? No heels on Daisy? At least she drives a Jeep... Tell me that I'm dreaming and there really is a flag on the roof of the General Lee, PC or not, it's too far of a departure from the classic TV show. I wonder who the Baladeer will be? I'm sure the casting of Willie Nelson as Uncle Jessie is a throwback to his best buddy Waylon Jennings being the Balladeer in the TV show. It should be good, unless WB screws it up. I NEED TO FLAG!

If Jessica Simpson can keep her mouth shut, this movie has a chance

I agree. I just watched a special on Kenny Wayne Sheppard having a custom General Lee "Xtreme Lee" made for himself. The Issue of the flag was addressed, and while the car DID get a nice custom flag on the roof(supposedly), the viewers never saw it on the show. P.C. strikes again! so much for freedom of expression. I can understand how some things offend some people, but can we ban the P.C. movement since it seems to offend everyone. The flag was not (in the TV series) ans is not (in the movie) a political statement. I too hope to see the original series ACURATELY represented for sake of natstalgia, but given todays P.C. climate, I won't hold my breath.

If she had only gone with the suntan hose and the open-toe heels, we might have actually seen a resurgence in pantyhose among younger women. Why don't women understand that their pale, bare, mushy legs are just about boring as can be?
