Superhero Hype has a scan from Entertainment Weekly of the first picture of Julian McMahon in full Dr. Doom gear. ?Maybe this photo will help you decide once and for all whether this will be the worst movie of next year, or the second-worst movie of next year.
"Fantastic Four" stars Michael Chiklis (TV's "The Shield"), Ioan Gruffudd ("King Arthur"), Chris Evans ("Not Another Teen Movie"), Jessica Alba ("Honey"), and Julian McMahon (TV's "Nip/Tuck"). ?It is directed by newcomer Tim Story.
The Fantastic Four are astronauts who get radiated and gain super powers. ?Their arch-nemesis is a mad scientist named Doctor Doom. ?The film will be ?out next year.

I totally agree that the films are spoiling the comics. Is it just me that didn't like the film of Spider-man? Or thought The Hulk was a piece of shit?

The Hulk was a bit boring, maybe due to the fact that he wasn't really a super-HERO. But I thought Spiderman was great and the sequel was even better.

Marvel movie costumes seem to continually look cheap and stupid. Spiderman's outfit looks overdone with the rubber lining junk on it. The Green Goblin was totally wrong. Way too premeditated. He didn't look crazy or weird like in the comic, he looked like an over done Hollywoodized plastic dork. And now they've got Dr. Doom with his plastic "metal colored" face. Marvel, wake up and think about it. Dr. Doom's suit and face were IRON..not PLASTIC. You've got millions of dollars so do it up right.

To me the picture looks unmistakably like plastic, especially if you've ever seen anything that made of real iron or even just common place steel. I suppose Doom's face could remotely pass for stainless steel, but it still looks like plastic in my book.
