Jim Carrey was what made the original Mask film. Without him this will just be shit. Especially with that stupid baby.

I think that Jim Carrey should be in it. Also, how did the baby get those powers without even having the mask on? They just want to make money, but they will ruin the series.

Yeah, I think that the director is crazy thinking he can just go and make a sequel. get the original director, the original writers, and the original actors instead. Also, the baby looks so fake. You can tell he is computer animated.

the son of the mask is a very very poor movie made by an amateur director.  have you seen the disgusting trailer?  and other sites show that this gay guy lawrence guterman is putting babies in sexual situations.  this guy needs a good kick in the face for this.

I'm not to sure about this.. Stanley Ipkiss and his dog would have been a better sequal.

I remember at the end of the film, the dog gets the mask out of the water and Mask 2 says it's at the bottom of the ocean (and been there for 10 years... (original mask was 1994)) so I dont get why they didnt show you what happened after.. and why the hell as the Baby got the mask's powers when he asnt even got the mask?

I just saw Son of the Mask for my birthday. It was hilarious! The animation rocked and it was funny! Jamie Kennedy was really good and so was Alan Cumming. Just one thing. That baby scares the hell out of me.
