What kind of film would YOU like to see?

I'm sure that it's been everyone's dream to make a movie and stuff.?Problem is, it just takes too much time and too much money to produce anything worthwhile, although it can be done with some effort and creativity.?But hell, I think I'm gonna try writing a script first.?Anyways, I wanted to know what kind of things you folks out there would like to see in a film.?Basically, a local film company has asked us for help in this survey.?Go for it.?I don't care how off the wall the ideas might get, but I could really use some feedback to make a kick ass movie.?Meaningful responses would definitely be useful and the guys from the film company would highly appreciate that.?And it's your chance to comment once more :)

Hmm. Porn kicks ass. Action kicks ass. We need some violent action packed porn movies. What a variety. Anyways, I don't think that helped at all, but I just had to comment dammit.

Isn't that a video game?   > reply

There's been a lot of big movies out lately that have that "independent film" feeling. I don't know, for example there's American Beauty and Bringing out the Dead. They were both good interesting movies, and in terms of budget, I think it is reasonable. DAmn I'm rambling. What I want to say is that you can try writing something that reflects real life things or hypothetical real life situations. People can relate to it.

I wanna see God come down from heaven. I wanna see Him walk down the streets of Portland. I wanna see him smite people left and right, causing them to burst into flames. In fact, I'm making that movie. :)

It's not actually in production yet, but it's one of the many movies on my schedule...which means that it may or may not actually be made before I die. Heh...I love making movies, just haven't had time (or equipment) lately to do much.

Argh. The post above was from me. Looks like there are some broken cookies here...

Actually the problems you are getting are related to the fact that we have both dtheatre.com and dtheater.com (UK spelling preffered here) and a cookie only registors with one. So you click on a link that goes to dtheatre.com and log in then you go to dtheater.com to post a comment and it doesn't recognize you.

Conclusion: Log in to both dtheatre.com and dtheater.com and in both netscape and IE if you use both..

Actually, I only ever go to dtheatre.com, since I always click over from WonkoSlice. And, yet again, it appears to have lost my cookie. Argh. Hmm.... weird.

I think we need more twisted movies like "Naked Lunch", I would like to see a movie made from one of Philip K Dick's books...but not Blade Runner. It seems that all the action films coming out these days are becoming quite BORING!!! 8mm was great, as was Seven...this is what I am talking about twisted. So lets see it HOLLYWOOD.
