The President of America is a serious and valid target for terrorists and even angry citizens. I don't think anyone would have thought any less of him if they (Bush's aides) simply said "..it's a bullet proof jacket!"

I personally like to think that it was a transmitter so we have something to blame this mid-sentence mini-seizures homeboy was sporting during the first debate. After all, it can be hard to listen, talk and think at the same time.

If bush woke up and smelt the coffee, then he would realize that aint nobody rich like him and he seem to don't care about no one but himself. If he spent one day like the strugglin  people who don't have money or jobs to take care of their family. then he would see how it felt to be poor. If your really want to be a president to us. start acting like one. your are a president all poor people should have a home instead of sleeping on the ground in front of the white house; that's why kerry should be president baecause if he's president then i know for a fact that the world will change a be a better place for people and more jobs. if bush open his eyes he would see it aint easy going to work making a living for 5 people in a small 2 bedroom apartment. if bush stop thinking about himself and start thinking that if he was in a situation like this then he would see it's very hard.

Attacking Iraq for Oil isn't a valid argument because
(i) It will take years before American troops (and their allies) have resolved the conflict there at the cost of a huge amount of money and resources.  Even after the conflict is resolved Bush would still have to be in power long enough to see the oil pipes and trade agreements set up to actually begin transporting it to America at a lower cost than it is now.

(ii) If Bush was going to go to war anyway why attack Afganastan and make up bullshit about WMD it would have been easier to go against Iraq immediatly while world opinion was still on his side just after 9/11.

(iii) Better yet if he wants the Oil why attack Iraq when there is the soft target of Iran which has open terrorist links was openly developing nuclear power and has a smaller army.

(iv) Better even than that if Bush wants Oil why not attack Saudia Arabia which has potentially all of the above and virtually no army plus a way more Oil, this would also scilence his critics about being too close to the Saudi Royal Family.

(v) Then again why even go to war America used a policy of sponsering dictators in South America extensivly in the 1960's 1970's to control Latin america why not do the same.  Oil for protection it wouldn't make headlines it wouldn't need a "Coalition of the Willing " and wouldn't cost nearly as much money.

These are just 5 reasons why a war for Oil in Iraq would be feasible.

(i) to get a firmer political foothold in the middle east

(ii) his definitions of the war on terror has wider connitation than it does to everyone else.

(iii) personal vendetta for his dad.

(iv) Iraq has harboured terrorists in the past the man who orginised the training for the september the eleventh hijackers for example.

(v) He genuinly believed there were WMD in Iraq.
