Chris Weitz (American Pie 1 & 2, About a Boy) is diving into deeper, more complex materials with HIS DARK MATERIALS, a set of popular fantasy novels. The director seems to be taking his new project very seriously.

Believe me, I've read all of this series of books and, if done right this could be bigger than Harry Potter.
