Jessica Simpson Cast as DAISY DUKE!

Is it just us, or is this beginning to smell like a bad smelling movie. ?Jessica Simpson (star of her own life, who also sings) has been cast as Daisy Duke (the television character that started the slutty jean short craze!) in the screen version of the Dukes of Hazzard.
