Tom Hanks will Direct/Produce 1918, a story about a flu epidemic in Harrison, Texas, it takes place just after World War I, Horace (O`Dea) comes home from war to find his town plagued be this flu, soon after his wife (Reid) and daughter gets hit with it. The main character will be played by an unknown Irish actor Oliver O`Dea, American Beauty's Annette Bening and American Pie's Tara Reid are also lined up.
